Bio

I was educated in Japan as a teacher. Upon graduation, I have applied my teaching skills in computer software instruction for a major Japanese manufacturer. This work provided me with hands-on experiences in teaching classes in such subjects as server administration, programming, and computer literacy.

Personally, I have always been interested in music, the arts, and literature — as well as in practical aspects relating to the systematic dissemination of information. I am always looking for ways to combine my creativity with my practical skills.

After a number of years in the field, I made up my mind to expand my horizons and come to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue studies in Information Design. I understood that this would allow me to combine my interests in practical and creative aspects of computer-related work.

The MSP at SFSU has given me skills in all areas of Internet Design, ranging from visual design to project management. In the future, I expect to utilize my skills in the area of Information Design and Usability in web site development work — always with an emphasis on the user's needs.
