Technical Requirements

The Javascript behaviours used on this site are supported by IE and Netscape versions 3.0 and higher.

All colors used on this site for buttons and backgrounds are web-safe so. Some images contain colors however which are not web-safe and will not retain their quality if viewed on a monitor which cannot display thousands of colors.

The site architecture inclludes tables which have their widths set at 100% and this is a feature that will only be recognised by Netscape 4.7 and IE 5 and higher. We considered changing the architecture but the Client assured us that the desired audience will be using browsers that will be able to view the site as designed.

Tables were designed to make sure that the font size display difference between IE and Netscape will not distort the formatting.

Images were optimised to ensure that download time was kept to less than 15 seconds on a 56k modem for all pages. No page was allowed to have more than 60k.
