Support for Families of Children with Disabilities 2000 Resource Guide for Families of Children with Disabilities in San Francisco.

About the Resource Guide:
The Resource Guide has been developed to provide what we hope is a comprehensive list of agencies — in the Bay Area, California, and throughout the country — that provide services to San Francisco children with disabilities or special health care needs and their families. We do not include individual practitioners in this guide.

Our focus is on organizations and agencies that serve families in San Francisco. For information about similar agencies in other counties, please refer to the Family Resource Center in that area.

For information on how to locate a physician, mental health professional, assessment professional, tutor, or other professional, or about your local Family Resource Center, see our listing in the Introduction of this Guide, or contact us at Support for Families at Open Gate or email us with your questions.

This guide does not endorse any services or programs listed, nor is it an exhaustive listing of agencies. If you find any incorrect information, if you would like to offer feedback, or if you know of additional resources that may be helpful to include in the future, please contact us.
