Fatherhood Development Classes

FCPS is a unique model designed to provide special support to non-custodial fathers. Although these fathers are often involved in the early years of their children’s lives, they may not always able to continue the relationship. This change in the father/child relationship often has a negative impact on the overall development of their children. By delivering a Fatherhood Development program that addresses the needs of these fathers, we can reverse this trend and partner with these fathers to build stronger, healthier families.

The FCPS program provides a safe and warm environment for fathers to learn responsible fatherhood through a series of workshops, guest speakers, support groups and relationship-building between parents.

Supportive Legal Services

In addition to offering parenting classes, FRH will help support FCPS participants with their legal needs by explaining the different legal processes relating to fatherhood. Legal services are provided by the San Francisco Office of the Family Law Facilitator. For more details, please go to our Supportive Legal Services page.
