Family Restoration
House (FRH) was created to meet the challenges of non-traditional
families. These families are often described as poor, never
been married, young inner-city minorities.Research
has shown that in 1997, one-third of all babies in the U.S.
were born out of wedlock (Fragile Families & Child Well-Being
Study).
FRH strongly believes
in strengthening the non-traditional family by providing quality
program services such as: Responsible Fatherhood workshops,
F.O.R.W.A.R.D. work-readiness programs, and assistance from
our Supportive Legal Services department. All of this is designed
to develop healthy attitudes and economic stability for the
families involved in our program. We believe that this will
in turn increase their quality of living and strengthen the
community at large.
Our Philosophy
Our Philosophy is to take a Holistic approach to strengthening
the family. We believe that by focusing on developing the family
emotionally, economically, and spiritually we will create a
positive environment for families and communities to realize
their full potential and leave a legacy for future generations.
