BROWSER/PLATFORM INDEPENDENT TESTING/PROOFING

Our Quality Assurance Testing of features that are not platform dependent included:

  • Proofing of html Page Titles
  • Alt tags utilized for images, headers, top of page icon, print page icon, and next page icon and previous page icons
  • Testing of all links internal and external, including the links to other sites on the resources page. Primary Navigation, Secondary Navigation, next page, top of page, print page and logo navigation to the home page.
  • Swap / rollover images work and are correct
  • Meta tags, description, and keywords are on every page except for pop up windows and print pages.
  • Missing images / broken links
  • Tables which pull apart
  • Images or text in the wrong place
  • Spell Check
  • Clean up HTML
BROWSER/PLATFORM DEPENDENT TESTING - CONFIGURATIONS KEY

We developed a testing strategy and quality assurance check sheet to test the Family Connections site on a variety of browsers with varying modem speed connections. The results of this testing were then compiled and any technical problems were addressed.
