The Family Empowerment Program
(FEP) at CARECEN helps low-income immigrant families in the City and County of San Francisco with case management, child custody, domestic violence, food stamps, emergency food and clothing, shelters, and family crisis.

The goal of the Family Empowerment Program is to help families overcome their problems and to help the economic and social growth of the immigrant families in San Francicso. The FEP will design a service plan to address the needs of the families to enable them to surpass their specific crises.
Once the crisis has gradually been solved, a family is invited to participate in the empowerment phase with the goal of stimulating the social and economic growth of the family in this country.
