Douglas Engelbart
September 23, 1995 "Boosting Collective IQ"

The visionary engineer who pioneered the graphical user interface, later popularized by the Macintosh and Windows, Douglas Engelbart's work at the Stanford Research Institute in the 1960s opened the door for the development of the personal computer in the 1970s.

Douglas Engelbart founded the Bootstrap Institute in 1989 to help leverage organizations into the 21st century. As is common for someone 20 years ahead of his time, Engelbart has proven that as each new wave of the computer revolution unfolds, people's experience become more aligned to his vision.

While the rest of the world is catching up to his past, Engelbart continues to point to the future.

In his lecture, Engelbart reviewed and discussed his work.
